Talk about "shock and awe"! My response exactly to the death of Tim Russert, our political guru, the shaman who taught us all how to sort out the spin and make sense of what was going on politically. He helped us "get a grip".
In numerology, there are two categories that give huge insight as to the direction a life should take. One is the Life Path Number and the other is the Maturity Number.
Consider these categories as the Main Plot and sub-plot of a novel we call "life".
By formula, Tim Russert had #9 in both of these categories - the number for "shaman, guru, teacher, wisdom-giver, counselor and father".
Didn't we all just feel that about him? As with any good father, Tim Russert made us feel safe, secure, encouraged us to be - Americans - we could be and to not be afraid.

I totally agree ( numbres aside) about David Gregory (and said as such while mourning last week). He has the experience, people trust him and he has been the guest host for MTP many times already.

Tom Brokaw agreed to do MEET THE PRESS only to the elections in honor of Tim Russert.
Then David's show will end and he moves into MEET THE PRESS.
Let's see if our predictions come true.
